Acid Reflux Tea – How to Cure Acid Reflux With Tea

Is there such thing as an acid reflux tea? Many tea-lovers have questioned if there really is a tea out there that will relieve their GERD symptoms.

In this article, you will learn 3 drinks that act like a tea to cure your acid reflux.

How to Cure Acid Reflux

Curing acid reflux is sometimes as simple as an apple or a drink of tea. For instance, my dad has been eating a slice of apple daily for almost 30 years because that is what cured his disease. Though an apple may work for some and not for others, there are numerous other remedies that could cure this common disease.

Here are 3 remedies that have worked for some of my natural health customers. If one does not work, move on to the next one and try that one. Because everybody’s body is different, there is not one set cure for this disease.

Begin your home treatment tonight.

Acid Reflux Tea

1. Many of my customers have recommended green tea with ginseng. The Turkey Hill brand seems to be a favorite. It is important that you choose a variety that contains honey. Honey is one of the most popular remedies for acid reflux because it can actually strengthens and heals the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) which is typically why most people suffer from this disease.

If you feel like you found a tea that is helping your reflux, you should add a teaspoon of honey to the tea for remedy benefits.

Over 70% of American women experience PMS symptoms at some point in life. So let’s beat it the natural way!

• Dandelion: This herb is a diuretic (rids body of water) and as a result, helps relieve bloating associated with PMS. It also cools and cleanses the liver (which is actually the organ that affects irritability & anger)
• Ginger: This herb can help to improve blood circulation in the body which will result in lessening the risk of PMS caused by not having enough oxygen and the occurrence of blood stagnation in the reproductive organ.
• Stinging Nettle: Stinging nettle is often suggested for PMS as a result of its toxin-ridding activity. It acts as a restorative remedy during menopause.
• Valerian: Good for relieving menstrual cramps
• Dandelion Leaf: Reduces high estrogen levels.

Herbal Remedies – Menstrual Cycle

• Dang Gui: This keeps the blood moving correctly to support the female organs and decrease the painful cramps that happens during the menstrual cycle.
Preparation: 1/2 to 1 cup of the herb for 1 each cup of water; simmer for 30-40 minutes
• Stinging Nettle: the astringency that the herb provides combats excessive menstrual flow.
• Red Raspberry Leaf Tea (A WINNER!)- Red Raspberry decreases menstrual bleeding, bloating, relaxes uterine and intestinal spasms, and strengthens the uterine walls. If taken a few days before and during the menstrual cycle (2-3 servings a day), you will notice that you will feel less bloated, and experience less pain.
Preparation: Use 1 bag with 4-6 oz. of boiling water, and allow it to steep for at least 3-5 minutes. Squeeze bag, and enjoy! Tea has a bit of sweetness to it, and is enjoyable, even for a raspberry hater like me!

Dandelions For Health

Dandelion is a perennial herb found throughout the temperate regions of North America, Europe, and Asia. The dandelion grows to be several inches in height, with a bright yellow flower, thin stem, and jagged leaves. The root, leaves, and stem all contain a milky fluid.

More than one theory exists on the origins of the dandelion’s name. The most generally accepted theory is that the shape of the leaves inspired the French phrase dent de lion, meaning lion’s tooth. This phrase eventually evolved into the word dandelion.

However, some argue that the phrase dent de lion was meant to describe the way the leaves resembled the angular jaw of a lion fully supplied with teeth. Others claim the yellow flowers can be compared to the golden teeth of the heraldic lion. And yet another claim is that the whiteness of the root is the feature which provides the resemblance.

Diverticulitis – A Disease of Convenience?

A poor diet is the primary cause of diverticulitis; specifically a diet that is loaded with preprocessed convenience foods, high in sugar, bad carbohydrates and saturated fats but low in fiber, fresh fruits, complex grains and vegetables. In medical circles this is sarcastically referred to as the “Standard American Diet” or SAD for short. In reality this type of diet has become increasingly common throughout the western world as has the incidence of diverticulitis.

The pathology of the disease begins as small pockets that bulge outwards are formed in the wall of the large intestine. These pockets are called diverticula and the condition is called diverticulosis. It becomes diverticulitis only when those pockets become inflamed due to infection. But lifestyle also has a part to play because when not enough exercise is undertaken regularly that contributes to poor regularity and the stool is more likely to then become lodged in these pockets.

Many people have diverticulosis without knowing it since there are no or few symptoms. It is only when stool becomes lodged in the pockets and causes inflammation and infection that there are any symptoms. The symptoms of diverticulitis include pain in the lower right side of the abdomen, gas and bloating, diarrhea alternating with constipation, rectal bleeding, fever, nausea and vomiting. Not all of these symptoms may be present during an attack of diverticulitis; it depends on how serious it is. Other diseases can also cause the same symptoms, so it is important to be properly diagnosed.

EFT & Psycho-somatic Problems

What may heal the wound that was inflicted by a fire onto a flesh

Yet what may never heal is a scar inflicted by a tongue onto a soul

-The Sacred Kurral

Physical pain and wounds heal with time but emotional hurt doesn’t heal easily. If your hand has been burnt by someone, the wound will heal but what may never heal is the hurt inflicted by the person who burnt your hand. The physical pain will be gone after sometime but the emotional pain will remain. These emotional ‘hurts’ are lodged in our memories and make us wince whenever we think of them.

However, there is one thing that can be changed now with EFT; the healing part …the ‘scar by tongue’ can also be healed now with EFT!

Psycho-somatic – the very name suggests physical problems (somatic) caused by psychological/emotional factors. Given below are some of the psycho-somatic problems that people suffer from.

v Abdominal, chest & back pains

v Dizziness

v Visual Blurring

v Weight loss

v Anorexia

v Nausea

v Food allergies

v Asthma

v Migraines

v Skin Problems

Small Hemorrhoids Affect Many People

It is estimated that hemorrhoids affect about eighty percent of the people in the United States at some point in their life. This uncomfortable condition can be caused by pressure on the rectum which then causes the hemorrhoid veins to bleed or even protrude from the rectum. This condition can be extremely painful and embarrassing for people which is why many go without seeking out treatment or help for this condition. Most people don’t want to talk about it and will often try to suffer through the pain. The condition always starts with small hemorrhoids that are often unnoticeable to most people. If they go untreated, they can become more painful and many people notice them when they see blood on the toilet paper. Starting to treat them immediately and seeking help from a doctor are both good ways to start.

There are several over the counter treatments for small hemorrhoids that people can use in the privacy of their own home. These come in the form of creams and pads that help to stop the itching and pain that are associated with hemorrhoids. Some of the creams will also come with an applicator that can be applied internally as well as externally around the rectum. If this measure doesn’t seem to do the trick, there are also suppositories that can be used to soothe the area. Read more…

Why You Must Know About Natural Herbal Remedies

How many times does it happens to you that you get irritated when your child asks you something which is very trivial for you but somehow you are not able to make him understand it? You wish he had some background knowledge about that particular information he is interested in, so that you don’t have to start your own backward integration by answering all the questions that arise from your own answers!

Your doctor faces the same problem when he tries to describe to you your disease, its symptoms, its causes, treatment, diet control and precautions to be taken. Now, he simply doesn’t have the time, or energy to explain everything to hundreds of patients like you.

This confusion and apprehension on the part of a patient regarding his disease and its remedy is universal. With a little prior knowledge about your disease, and its possible herbal and homeopathic remedies, you yourself can extract the most out of any treatment.
