The Latest Hair Loss Research Revealed

The latest hair loss research shows us how many natural herbs, minerals and vitamins can help to effectively combat the loss of hair, and reveals one ingredient in particular that has proven to show some exceptional results.

First we need to look at the main cause and the most common type – DHT and male and female pattern baldness respectively, to understand how to find the best hair loss treatment.

DHT is a by-product of testosterone found in men and women, particularly after the menopause in women, and causes the hair to fall out by making the follicles smaller and smaller and also inhibiting any further regrowth.

The latest hair loss research shows one ingredient in particular that is very effective – Minoxidil.

Minoxidil is the only topical medication approved by the FDA for male and female loss of hair. It does not grow new hair, it works by blocking DHT and extending the growth phase of hair and providing more time for the hair to grow out to its full density and returning your full head of healthy hair.

Some powerful herb extracts can also block the DHT, boosting your circulation and overall health as well. The best ones are Nettle Root, Saw Palmetto and Pumpkin and when combined with important vitamins and minerals like B6, Biotin, zinc and magnesium, you have a winning combination.

Is Hair Loss Killing Your Love Life?

Hair loss does not need to be the end to your attraction to the opposite sex. Are you interested in hair restoration procedures but concerned about the price? Well, there are several variables that need to be considered when you are looking at hair restoration prices. These include things such as what clinic will do the procedure and the size of the area that needs to be covered. With hair implants the total number of implants needed to complete the task is a big factor.

There are no absolute price guides to tell how much the hair restoration will cost. The biggest consideration is where the procedure will be performed. Doctors in some states have higher costs than others. The difference in the cost can get to the point that it may be worth your while to travel to another state to have the procedure done! If you can’t take time off from work, then at least compare prices between clinics in your area. Prices will often times vary quite a lot even among surgeons located in the same area.

Usually, the hair restoration price you pay will depend on the number of grafts you have. Since they are calculated on a per graft unit cost basis. This being the case, the larger the area the more grafts needed, so the higher the cost. There is some variation in this because you can decide on how much coverage you desire. If you want thick, full coverage of an area you will have a higher cost than if you can live with a thinner covering. Costs also are determined by hair type. Some variables include thickness of the hair, color and texture. Another factor is the amount of donor hair available. Read more…
