The Definitive Guide to Reaching 6 Pack Abs

You’ve done thousands of crunches, but you still have stomach flab and those annoying “love handles” around your midsection. At a certain point, you just blame genetics, after all, what could be the problem? Well, look no further, because the problem isn’t genetics, it’s just the way you’ve gone about getting into shape.

Stop with the crunches

The truth is, there’s no need for crunches to get 6 pack abs. What you need to do is to work on losing body-fat (and no, there’s no easy way to target one area), and getting your body toned and strong. Here’s how to go about doing that:

Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition

You know how businessman always say that it’s all about real estate, real estate, real estate? Well, in the fitness world, we have a similar phrase. It’s all about nutrition, nutrition, nutrition. No matter how hard you train, you will not get the body you desire unless you eat right! So drop the processed foods, get rid of the junk, and start eating lean meat and fruits and vegetables and get on your way to getting the body you want.

Train Like You MEAN IT

Yes, we know, you go to the gym. But if you spend 30 minutes talking with your buddies in the locker room (you know who you are), 40 minutes doing easy but long cardio and another 40 minutes in the sauna, you are NOT training right. Try going to the gym, changing, warming up for 5-10 minutes on the bike and then doing high intensity workouts. That means instead of biking or running long distance, sprint for short distances. Go at body weight exercises full force, and use weights safely but with meaning. That’s the ONLY way to get into shape.
