The beautifully sweet and spicy aroma of Cinnamon Essential oil is renowned to be a warming and uplifting oil; ideal for use during the colder months to help lift spirits and warm the senses. Naturally energising and stimulating, you may find it to be a useful oil to help kick the brain into gear when you have work to do.
Used in massage, it can be a useful oil to help ease sore muscles due to its natural warming effects (ensure you dilute to a maximum of 1% before skin application).
Cinnamon Leaf Oil makes a lovely room fragrance, especially during Christmas - Cinnamon, Clove and Orange Oils together make a lovely festive fragrance which will bring cheer to your home and your guests.
How to Use
Great for home fragrance; add to a few drops to a diffuser or traditional burner to create a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to help warm and stimulate.
To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill a dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual.
For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin.
Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go.
Dilute in distilled water and pour into a spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Blends Well With
Cinnamon blends especially well with benzoin, cloves, coriander, cardamom, frankincense, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, rosemary, and thyme.
Eugenol, eugenol acetate, cinnamaldehyde, benzyl benzoate, linalol.
INCI name: Cinnamomum zeylanicum Leaf Oil
